Responsible Management of Continuing Education."},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On November 14th, RECLA experienced a space that was essential for the world of education: the <\/span><b>Workshop \u201cResponsible Management of Continuing Education\u201d<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, we had as a workshop leader <\/span><b>Carina Oliva<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, Director of the Master's Program in Sustainable Development Management at Blas Pascal University.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For two hours, representatives from different institutions \u201412 attendees who contributed 44 strategic initiatives\u2014 reflected on how to strengthen continuing education from an ethical, sustainable perspective and in accordance with the needs of our territories.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The discussions around four criteria highlighted that the sustainability of Continuing Education (CE), rather than being a challenge, is a major strategic bet.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Among the main agreements reached in the workshop, the following stood out:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Criterion 1: Purpose<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Strong institutional commitment<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> with the EC as a permanent and relevant axis for the territory, with a projection towards 2026.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<p><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Sustainable operational planning<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, which is consolidated with the creation of a specific policy for 2025.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<p><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Integration of sustainability into institutional policies<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, especially in the Extension and Social Projection Policy and the Center's Strategic Plan.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<p><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Developing transformative capabilities<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> en profesionales y organizaciones, para impulsar cambios reales en sus contextos.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<p><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Evidence-based management<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, using indicators that allow for evaluation, correction, and improvement.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<p><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Alliances with the productive sector<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, with an articulated work that will formally begin in 2026.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<p><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Focus on social impact and SDGs<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">integrating programs aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Criterion 2: Values<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">By 2026, the institutions plan to strengthen the EC through an ethical and human foundation:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Training in ethical values, sustainability and transgenerational equity.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<p><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Portfolio review with criteria that ensure coherence between the educational purpose and the social impact.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<p><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cross-functional team training on emerging issues and global challenges.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<p><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Promoting the concept of a green, smart and inclusive campus as an institutional hallmark.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Criterion 3: Method<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The methodological discussion reaffirmed the need for profound transformations:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Implementation of digital badges as formative recognition aligned with institutional values \u200b\u200band SDGs.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<p><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Consolidation of Project-Based Learning (PBL) as a central approach.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<p><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Integration of content related to sustainability, environment and social inclusion.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<p><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Methodological articulation with the Campus as part of the 2026 strategic plan.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<p><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Development of policies for the responsible issuance of badges, ensuring quality, consistency and transparency.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Criterion 4: Leadership and Social Projection<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The last criterion addressed the EC's ability to irradiate transformation:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Strengthening alliances with the public and private sectors and industrial clusters.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<p><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Needs assessments in organizations and companies to offer relevant and contextualized training.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<p><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Inclusive actions such as scholarships, volunteering and support for NGOs.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<p><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Collaborative production of content that highlights good sustainable practices.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<p><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Articulation with Social Projection and Knowledge Transfer to guarantee real impact in the communities.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<blockquote>\n<h4>This workshop allowed us to share and promote spaces with initiative, which highlight and reinforce the concepts of sustainability and responsibility; likewise, it set clear paths for 2026 that will allow us to build the future of education through collaboration.<\/h4>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We thank all the participants and attendees, our workshop leader, and every institution that wants <\/span><b>to train citizens capable of caring for, transforming, and shaping the future.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span
