{"id":9670,"date":"2021-03-05T21:18:36","date_gmt":"2021-03-05T21:18:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/recla.org\/noticias\/nuestro-breve-siglo-educacion-y-trabajo-copy\/"},"modified":"2024-01-05T18:07:35","modified_gmt":"2024-01-05T18:07:35","slug":"alianzas-clave-para-la-formacion-continua","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/recla.org\/en\/blog\/alianzas-clave-para-la-formacion-continua\/","title":{"rendered":"Alianzas, clave para la formaci\u00f3n continua"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Las alianzas entre universidades de EEUU, Espa\u00f1a y Latinoam\u00e9rica, clave para fomentar investigaci\u00f3n y calidad de educaci\u00f3n superior.<\/p>\n<p>Los dos principales elementos que est\u00e1n influyendo en la transformaci\u00f3n de la educaci\u00f3n superior en el \u00e1mbito mundial son la globalizaci\u00f3n y la adaptaci\u00f3n al escenario cambiante de la econom\u00eda del conocimiento. El proceso de globalizaci\u00f3n se est\u00e1 traduciendo, en el \u00e1mbito universitario, a trav\u00e9s de alianzas y en un incremento de la competencia internacional por la atracci\u00f3n de los mejores estudiantes, profesores e investigadores y, en definitiva, por la captaci\u00f3n de talento y de recursos financieros para el desarrollo de sus misiones (Altbach, Reisberg, y Rumbley, 2019).<\/p>\n<p>Las universidades tienen como misi\u00f3n la transferencia del nuevo conocimiento generado a trav\u00e9s de la investigaci\u00f3n al entorno productivo, para impulsar el desarrollo social y econ\u00f3mico en la econom\u00eda del conocimiento. De esta forma, no solo est\u00e1n implicadas en la creaci\u00f3n y transferencia de conocimiento para resolver los grandes problemas a nivel global, sino que tambi\u00e9n tienen que colaborar con el tejido social y productivo local para mejorar las condiciones de vida en la comunidad en la que est\u00e1n establecidas.<\/p>\n<p>Se ha acu\u00f1ado as\u00ed el t\u00e9rmino de universidad \u201cglocal\u201d (GUNI, 2017) para definir la responsabilidad dual de las universidades, por una parte, a nivel global para abordar los grandes desaf\u00edos mundiales recogidos en los <em>Objetivos del Desarrollo Sostenible de las Naciones Unidas<\/em> y, por otra, a nivel local por su compromiso social para contribuir al progreso social, cultural, econ\u00f3mico, y apoyar la competitividad internacional de sus respectivas sociedades.<\/p>\n<p>Desde la perspectiva de la carrera acad\u00e9mica, el acceso a las redes acad\u00e9micas internacionales constituye un elemento importante para el desarrollo profesional. En los dos mayores estudios que se han realizado a nivel internacional sobre las actitudes y valores del profesorado universitario, el de la Carnegie Foundation for Advancement of Teaching en 1992 y la Survey of the Changing Academic Profession (CAP) en 2007 se aprecia la importancia que tiene para el profesorado de casi todos los pa\u00edses los aspectos internacionales de la docencia, la formaci\u00f3n continua y la investigaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Como plantean Postiglione, y Altbach (2011), los profesores e investigadores universitarios necesitan aumentar sus perfiles y actitudes hacia la internacionalizaci\u00f3n, ya que son ellos quienes imparten las clases y realizan investigaci\u00f3n que publican, en muchos casos en colaboraci\u00f3n con colegas extranjeros. De manera que, sin la participaci\u00f3n activa de los propios acad\u00e9micos, los intentos de mejorar la competitividad de la universidad tienen pocas posibilidades de \u00e9xito.<\/p>\n<p>Esto implica la necesidad de que su profesorado est\u00e9 actualizado y vinculado a las redes acad\u00e9micas internacionales en sus respectivas disciplinas (Almui\u00f1as y Galarza, 2016).<\/p>\n<p>En este contexto, la iniciativa de cooperaci\u00f3n acad\u00e9mica, sin \u00e1nimo de lucro, del <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.iapsymposia.com\/\">Programa Acad\u00e9mico Internacional<\/a><\/em><em> (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.iapsymposia.com\/\">International Academic Program<\/a> (IAP <\/em>en ingl\u00e9s) a trav\u00e9s de una serie de simposios permite la actualizaci\u00f3n de investigadores y acad\u00e9micos con prestigiosos ponentes de universidades ubicadas en el \u00e1rea de Boston (USA) supone una gran oportunidad para el intercambio de ideas y experiencias acad\u00e9micas, desarrollo de nuevas l\u00edneas de investigaci\u00f3n\u00a0 y participar en un nuevo movimiento dentro del marco de la Agenda 2030, al desempe\u00f1ar un papel de agente favorecedor de Alianzas entre EEUU,
