Program Description:

This program will equip you with the tools to design personalized meal plans, apply dietary therapy for geriatric conditions, and develop effective nutritional education interventions. With expert guidance, you will acquire practical skills that will enable you to improve the quality of life for older adults and address current challenges in geriatric health and nutrition.

Curriculum/Contents: 

– Biological and functional bases of aging
– Nutritional status assessment in older adults
– Nutritional intervention in geriatric syndromes and frailty
– Diet therapy in chronic and neurodegenerative diseases
– Nutritional support and bioethics in older adults

To whom it is addressed:  

Aimed at nutrition graduates, interns, and final-year students with knowledge of dietary calculations and meal plan design. Experience in elderly care is recommended.
