RECLA

from Latin America and Europe

We are a non-profit organization, legally constituted in 1997. Our administrative and operational headquarters are located in Bogotá, Colombia.

RECLA contribuye facilitando el networking y la internacionalización, compartiendo experiencias y buenas prácticas y brindando acceso a nuevos conocimientos, all of that within a framework of coexistence of people and institutions that ensure powerful long-term links.

Our objectives

To promote the development of continuing education and lifelong learning, fostering flexible, inclusive, and high-quality models that respond to the challenges of the global environment.
Through inter-institutional cooperation, networking, and internationalization, RECLA strengthens training ecosystems that encourage professional development, retraining, and the holistic growth of individuals and organizations, contributing to the equitable and sustainable development of our regions.

Vision

To be the leading international network in Latin America, the Caribbean and Europe in the transformation and innovation of continuing education and lifelong learning, linking higher education institutions, organizations and governments to lead the development of talent and social impact in the region.

Inclusion and Equity:

We promote equitable access to learning opportunities for all sectors of society.

Sustainability and Social Impact:

We develop initiatives aimed at responding to the dynamics of the global environment and the equitable progress of the regions.

Goals

To create spaces for debate and reflection on the trends, projections, and future of continuing education.

Strengthen the processes of the continuing education units of its associates.

Promote the design and development of cooperation programs.

Benefits of Membership

RECLA has defined lines of action and activities that will be carried out during the current year; where each partner university in the Network defines how to participate, generating an experience tailored to its reality and needs.

We consider two-way participation: a first to make visible and share university experiences in continuing education, and a second to learn and access new knowledge that ultimately contributes to the consolidation of continuing education units with quality standards, internationalization processes, and continuous process improvement, among others.
