SOBRE LAS MICROCREDENCIALES

Description

Las microcredenciales son diseñadas, organizadas y ejecutadas por RECLA para fortalecer las competencias de los profesionales que lideran o participan en la gestión de la educación continua en las instituciones de educación superior. Cada una desarrolla un ámbito específico de la gestión, como la institucionalidad, la gestión académica, el diseño de programas, la vinculación con el medio, el desarrollo de personas y la gestión financiera.

Cada microcredencial puede cursarse de manera independiente y es co-certificada por una universidad integrante de la Red RECLA. Su metodología combina el aprendizaje autónomo y flexible en un entorno virtual con encuentros sincrónicos obligatorios, contenidos interactivos y un competency-based approach orientado a la aplicación práctica de los conocimientos.

This micro-credential aims to strengthen the institutional role of continuing education within the university context, developing competencies that enable its integration into institutional regulatory, strategic, and governance frameworks.

Graduate Profile:
Upon completion of the program, participants will be able to:
Diagnose the organizational architecture and levels of institutional governance to formulate strategic proposals that align the mission, vision, and planning of the Continuing Education unit with institutional objectives, the SDGs, and the demands of the productive environment; ensuring the coherence, relevance, and feasibility of its integration into the university development model.

Expected Learning Outcomes
  • Analyze the institutional architecture to align the EC with the mission, vision, and strategic objectives of the university.
  • Formulate clear, aligned, and viable institutional mission and vision statements for the continuing education unit.
  • Propose mechanisms or projects for the integration of EC into Institutional strategic planning.
  • Distinguish between the different levels of governance and institutional responsibilities to ensure effective articulation of the EC.
  • Evaluate the relevance and coherence of the mission and vision in relation to the SDGs and university governance.

This microcredential is designed to strengthen the competencies of professionals responsible for the academic administration of continuing education programs. It does so through the implementation of standards, tools, and procedures that ensure process traceability, information transparency, and continuous improvement of academic services.

Upon completion of the program, participants will be able to:
Design educational frameworks, strategic objectives, performance indicators, and teaching materials aligned with institutional Continuing Education policies, guaranteeing high-quality training processes relevant to the social and productive challenges of the environment; analyze information on students' learning experiences; define continuous improvement mechanisms and clear regulations; and evaluate effective academic record and certification systems to strengthen transparency, traceability, and institutional effectiveness in Continuing Education management.

This micro-credential aims to strengthen institutional capacities to implement community engagement strategies through the analysis of RECLA frameworks and standards. It seeks to enable participants to develop articulated and sustainable external management proposals.

Graduate Profile:
Upon completion of the program, participants will be able to:
Evaluate the needs of internal and external stakeholders and design collaborative relationship frameworks that lead to relevant and sustainable training solutions aligned with institutional strategic objectives and the opportunities of the national education system.
In addition, they will be able to design models for the internationalization of Continuing Education and propose partnerships for internships and institutional exchanges; as well as analyze the national education system to identify strategic areas for participation in public policies related to continuing education.

  • Assess the needs of internal and external stakeholders and design a framework for engagement and relevant training solutions.

Ibero México Mexico
This microcredential provides conceptual and practical tools to strengthen the selection, training, evaluation, support, and recognition processes for faculty and administrative staff in continuing education programs. Through a reflective and applied approach, participants will be able to design evaluation, induction, and training plans for academic and administrative staff, including continuous monitoring, formative feedback, and improvement actions, with the aim of strengthening operational efficiency and consolidating an institutional culture oriented toward service and excellence.

Graduate Profile:
Upon completion of the program, participants will be able to:
Select, evaluate, and support faculty and administrative staff in Continuing Education programs, applying criteria of experience, disciplinary expertise, and andragogical relevance; as well as design feedback and recognition mechanisms that strengthen their performance and commitment to educational quality.

It addresses topics such as budget and financial management enabling participants to design and implement investment plans that integrate educational infrastructure, technological platforms, and student support services. The goal is to enhance the quality, accessibility, and efficiency of continuing education training processes.

Define strategic administrative and financial objectives aligned with institutional planning, and implement budget management and monitoring models that ensure the economic sustainability of the Continuing Education unit through evidence-based decision-making.

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Para obtener el certificado oficial de la microcredencial, el participante deberá cumplir con los siguientes requisitos:
  1. Completar satisfactoriamente todas las actividades y evaluaciones establecidas en la plataforma de aprendizaje.
  2. Asistir al menos a 2 de las 3 sesiones sincrónicas obligatorias de la microcredencial.
  3. Encontrarse al día en sus compromisos administrativos y financieros con la organización.

  • Credit/Debit Card: Secure online and immediate payment (Visa, MasterCard).

We understand that plans can change, so we have clear options to protect your investment before and during the program.

If you need to withdraw from the program, the following conditions will apply depending on when you make your request:

Cancellation before the start of the diploma program:
Participants may request cancellation of their enrollment under the following conditions, guaranteeing, first and foremost, the Legal Right of Withdrawal (Article 47 of Law 1480 of 2011) applicable to purchases made online, which grants a 100% refund within five (5) business days after payment (provided the program has not yet started).
Once the legal withdrawal period has expired, cancellation requests will be governed by the following table:
Application Deadline Up to 10 calendar days before the start. Between 9 and 3 calendar days before the start. Less than 72 hours before the start.
Refund 90% refund of the amount paid (10% retention for administrative expenses). 70% refund of the amount paid. No refunds will be issued. You have the option to request a postponement of your registration (subject to the terms and conditions of the postponement policy).
After the program begins:
After day 7: No refunds or transfers of value will be issued due to the prior allocation of resources and dynamic tutoring. You have the option to request a postponement by submitting a formal notification and providing evidence of the compelling reasons why you cannot continue. You must send your documented justification, and we will provide a decision within a maximum of 10 business days.

*Important: Withdrawal, defined as voluntarily leaving the program without submitting a formal request, implies the loss of the right to certification but will not freeze your place for the future.
If you encounter an unforeseen work, personal, or medical emergency and need to pause your studies, you can postpone your participation under the following guidelines:
  • How many times can I postpone? Is allowed only one (1) postponementper participant is allowed to ensure the continuity of the cohorts.
  • How and when to apply?Send a formal written request to [email protected]You can do this at any time before the program starts, or up to the 10th if the macro-credential program has already begun.
  • Key requirements:* Provide documented support or justification.
    • Not having exceeded 30% progress in the activities.
  • Benefit conditions:Your deferral will be valid for a maximum of 12 months. Please note that this option is subject to availability in future cohorts and does not guarantee keeping the same tutor or freezing commercial terms if these change.
  • To re-enter: You must notify us of your return at least 30 days in advance to enable your access to the virtual platform.
